Rental text books

If you want to just rent a copy of the next text book you can do so on the following sites. I went with bookrenter, as I found an online coupon for 10% off. the code is CHTYPRF, and they offer free shipping. It came out to approx $33 for 45 days of rental.

www.bookrenter.com or
www.chegg.com

Can anyone register for their next course yet? I tried to but had a hold on mine....just wondering if I had to finish this one first.

  1. Hi Mella, I also tried to register and got the same response about the hold. I e-mailed Erika to see if she knew anything. Let me know if you find out what is going on - thanks! Greg

  3. I called UTA this morning, whomever I talked to said they would remove the hold. I had actually already registered, prior to their system messing up (surprise, I know), so that wasn't a problem for me, but I panicked when I saw I was on hold. She said the system was messed up and that she would remove it, so you can call the office of graduate studies, too, and they might be able to take care of it.

  4. Thanks for the help, I e-mailed Micaela and will hope it gets taken care of. The course instructor shows as J.Smith or something like that right? Greg

  5. I had the same problem and Micaela took care of it for me. The course instructor is J. Smith.

I could not find the book at Chegg, but also found it at Bookrenter. I used a coupon for $5 off. The code code is USFSAVE5.

I hope this next course runs a little more smoothly for us than the first one did.

  8. I have not been able to get onto the course yet either. I am sort of bummed because I was hoping to get a little bit of a head-start. I always feel like I am working under pressure to meet the deadlines in such a short period of time.

  9. I agree with Amanda, I was hoping to get a headstart too but don't see the new course yet. Some of the deadlines have been tough on top of everything else we do... I set aside a hour each night to work on this and it rarely feels like enough. Greg
